Most of the stories were pretty good. I don't like Gore so some were not for me. In all this kept me reading.
I was captivated and on the edge of my seat. Such an enjoyable collection! Cain has a way of engaging you in his stories that kept me mesmerized!
It's been one of the very few books that I have deleted from my kindle as I just couldn't finish it (hopefully the best stories weren't left to last). I understand that these are short stories however some of them are quite confusing because there is just no structure to introduce what is going on. Not the writing style for me but maybe for some others.
This author packs a lot of punch in a short story. All very credible. That is the scary part. Very enjoyable
These Old Tales was a very enjoyable read, each story a wonderful twist. Would highly recommend if you like short stories with a touch of darkness!
